From Madison, Milwaukee, Chicago Illinois

 From Madison, Wisconsin, take Highway 18 West.  Highway 18 West will take you almost all of the way to Wyalusing State Park.  (You will drive through Dodgeville, and then Fennimore.  As you enter Fennimore, you need to take a right turn at the first stop sign.  This will take you through the downtown area of Fennimore.  As you leave Fennimore, be sure to stay on Hwy. 18. You will see Friederick’s Family Restaurant on the left, as well as Bender’s Foods.  Take a left turn at Friederick’s Family Restaurant.  Continue on Hwy. 18.)  Mt. Ida is the last town that you will go through on Hwy. 18.  You will now have 15 miles left before you reach County Hwy. C.  Take a left turn onto County Hwy. C.  (Watch for the Captain’s Cove Motel.  If you cross the Wisconsin River Bridge you have gone too far.)  Continue on County Hwy. C.  You will go up a steep hill and come to a stop sign and the Dew Drop Inn.  Take a right at the stop sign onto County Highway X.  Continue on County Highway X for 1 mile.  You will then see the entrance road to Wyalusing State Park on your right.  Watch for the large stone sign.  From LaCrosse, Wisconsin, Minneapolis, Minnesota

 From Minneapolis, Minnesota, you could travel towards La Crosse, Wisconsin.  You can cross the Mississippi River at LaCrescent, Minnesota or continue south on Hwy. 26 to Lansing, Iowa.  You will need to take Hwy. 35 South from either LaCrescent or Lansing.  Continue on Hwy. 35 South to Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin.  Highways 18 and 35 will combine in Prairie du Chien.  Continue on Hwy. 18/35 through Prairie du Chien. Stay on Hwy18/35 until you come to come to County Highway C, just past the Wisconsin River Bridge.  Take a right onto County Highway C.  Continue on County Highway C until you come to a stop sign and the Dew Drop Inn.  Take a right onto County Highway X.  Continue on County Highway X for 1 mile.  You will then see the entrance road to on the right.  Watch for the large stone sign. From Dubuque, Iowa

From Dubuque, take Hwy. 35 North to Lancaster, Wi.  Take County Hwy. K north from Lancaster to Mt. Ida.  At Mt. Ida take a left on Hwy. 18.  Continue on Hwy. 18 for approximately 15 miles.  Take a left onto County Hwy. C just past the Captain’s Cove Motel.  Continue on County Hwy. C to County Hwy. X.  Take a right onto County Hwy. X, near the Dew Drop Inn.  Travel 1 mile on County Hwy. X.  You will see the entrance road to Wyalusing State Park on the right.  Watch for a large stone sign. From Galena, Illinois

From Galena, take Hwy. 80 North to Highway 11.  Take Hwy. 11 to Hwy. 35 North.  Continue on Highway 35 North through Dickeyville, Tennyson and Lancaster.  From Lancaster, take County Hwy. K north to Highway 18.  Take a left onto Highway 18 at Mt. Ida.  Continue on Hwy. 18 west for approximately 15 miles to County Hwy. C.  Take a left onto County Hwy. C just past the Captain’s Cove. Continue on County Hwy. C to County Hwy.
